Pakistan Flood Disastar

The flooding across Pakistan is now affecting more than 20 million people with at least 1,600 killed and 1,588 injured. Over 722,000 homes have been destroyed or badly damaged. Almost one in every 9 Pakistanis – have so far been affected by the flooding, which began late last month in the wake of heavy monsoon rains.

Striving in the way of God
September 3 rd, 2010
Hudhur gave a discourse on striving in the way of God in his Friday Sermon today. He began by reciting the following Quranic verse: ‘And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And verily Allah is with those who do good.’ (29:70) Hudhur said we are currently going through the last ten days of Ramadan which are special days to attain the highest point in acceptance of prayer.
