LMC 2010 Overview

Lajna Ima’Illah USA concluded its 7th Annual Mentoring Conference for Local Sadrs and their Aamla and some invited members on March 26-28, 2010 at Bait-ul-Hameed Mosque in Chino, CA. More than 240 members from 69 Majaalis attended the event in which experiences were shared, Majalis were recognized for their achievements and hard work; and prizes were distributed.

In an open discussion session many questions were answered, and suggestions were noted. During the many breaks local office holders got to meet with National Aamla members of their respective departments and their colleagues from other Majaalis. Also, as a special treat, flag pins featuring the Lajna Ima’Illah Flag as well as T-shirts decorated with ‘Lajna Ima'Illah’ and ‘Nasirat-ul Ahmadiyya ’ printing were sold at one of the booths.

The following presents a brief overview of the LMC and presentations:

Closing Remarks By National Sadr Lajna Ima'Illah USA

Respected Sadr Sahiba's concluding advice based on the following verse from the Holy Qur'an:

  • [6:166] And He it is Who has made you successors of others on the earth and has exalted some of you over the others in degrees of rank, that He may try you by that which He has given you.
  • Sadr Sahiba said that as successors of our forefathers, we owed it to them to fulfill our responsibilities.  They made tremendous sacrifices for us to be part of such a blessed community.  We also owe it to our future generation, who will be successors after us.
