Northwest Region
NorthWest Region of Lajna Ima'illah USA consists of seven Local Majalis. By the grace of Allah NorthWest is a very active Region. The Region had the honored to host and arranged Mentoring Meeting in 2008, which was held at Baitul Basir Mosque in Silicon Valley. Additionally they had hosted several West Cost events with the collective effort of all the Majalis in the Region. Khidmat-e-Khalq Department is very active throughout the Region.

What's New In The Region?

North-West Regional Nasirat Camp 2012: On July 14-15 2012, Nasirat Camp for North-West region was held at Baitul Baseer, Milpitas. 21 Nasirat from Silicon Valley, Bay Point and Oakland attended this camp. 15 Lajna members from 3 chapters volunteered in planning and execution of camp activities. Camp started with ice breaker activity and letter to Huzoor (atba) workshop. Program included two workshops on topic of "Hamara Khilafat pay eeman hay" and "Hain deen ki Nasirat hum". Health presentation focused on dental health. One lajna member, who is a professional in dental field, explained the proper way of brushing teeth and importance of dental hygiene. All nasirat were given brushing kits. A presentation was given on Islamic etiquettes of eating followed by fancy dinner for Nasirat. Cooking lesson, Handicraft lesson and sports were also included in the program. Camp concluded on Sunday with slide show and dua. |
