What's New In Waqf-e-Jadid
Dear Local Sadrs and Local Waqf-e-Jadid Secretaries, The final date for payment for Waqfe Jadid is quickly approaching (December 31st, 2020). If you have not held a "Waqfe-Jadid day," as mentioned in the Waqfe-Jadid program, please do so before December 31st. This can be a small part of your regular lajna meeting, discussing the importance of Waqfe Jadid. Kindly submit your Waqf-e-Jadid 2020 Annual report on the link shared with you in April 2020.
Please keep the following goals in mind:
LAJNA: Attain 100% participation and strive to improve upon the 2019 collection
NASIRAT: Attain 100% Nanhi Mujahid participation
CHILDREN under 7: Attain 100% participation and strive to improve upon the 2019 Collection. Please note that we are not actively seeking to enroll them in the Nanha Mujahid Scheme but if any parent may request to enroll their child in the Nanha Mujahid scheme they are allowed to do so provided they promise to write to Huzur (atba) regularly for prayers for that child.
Please strive to enroll ALL the Nasirat in your region in the blessed Nanhi Mujahid Scheme - to pledge and pay$50 of their own money toward this Scheme. Kindly keep the following in mind:
REPORTING AND COLLECTION PROCEDURES
Kindly note the following:
The Annual Report Form A is due on January 10th, 2021. Access has been given to local Sadrs and local Waqf-e-Jadid Secretaries. Please note that you will have to use your official Lajna email accounts to access the document. If someone other than these two would be submitting the report, access would be granted to them on their official Lajna email address upon request via email to me.
Finally, please write a letter to Huzur (atba) for prayers for the successful outcome of the Lajna and Nasirat Waqf-e-Jadid efforts this year.

Progress of Ahmadiyyat in 2013, Financial Sacrifice and Waqf-e-Jadid
January 3rd, 2014 "...As every Ahmadi knows, our job is to go on advancing the mission and work of the Promised Messiah(as). We have to advance the work that has to do with the spreading the message of Islam throughout the world. We have the job of gathering together the split and splintered Muslims all over the world. We have to make the people of the world such as would bow and humble themselves before God Almighty. ..." |
Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih recited the following Quranic verse at the start of his Friday sermon today: ‘They who spend their wealth for the cause of Allah, then follow not up what they have spent with taunt or injury, for them is their reward with their Lord, and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.’ (2:263) Urdu (wmv)

Waqf-e-Jadid Scheme: An Introduction |
|
Friday Sermon, Delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (atba), the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on January 7th, 2011 : “And the case of those who spend their wealth to seek the pleasure of Allah and to strengthen their souls is like the case of a garden on elevated ground. Heavy rain falls on it so that it brings forth its fruit twofold. And if heavy rain does not fall on it, then light rain suffices. And Allah sees what you do.” (2:266) Financial sacrifice is a directive for the righteous. |

Friday Sermon, Delivered by Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (atba), the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on January 9th, 2009 : “As to the men that give alms, and the women that give alms, and those who lend to Allah a goodly loan — it will be increased manifold for them, and theirs will also be an honourable reward (57:19).” "The Promised Messiah (as) elaborating on this verse has said that God does not need money, but He takes it upon Himself to reward those who make sacrifices in His cause to express his love for such people. Therefore any sacrifice made for the sake of God is greatly valued by Him, especially the sacrifice that is made for the sake of propagation of religion is highly valuable in God’s eyes, on the condition that this is done purely to please Allah..." |
